Manes fitness in jeopardy again – sent back to Liverpool with a hamstring problem

Liverpool star Sadio Mane has returned to Merseyside due to a minor hamstring problem.

Liverpool confirmed on monday that Mane is coming back earlier than planned. The 25-year-old has suffered from injuries over the last months, and he just made his comeback from injury in the 4-1 Premier League win over West Ham on November 4.

Still he was called up for this month’s international matches for Senegal despite his lack of playing time.

Mane starred in the victory over South Africa on Friday, a result that secured Senegal’s place at the World Cup.

He served an assist to Diafra Sakho’s goal which led to a 2-0 victory.
