The Italian international was sold this summer after impressing in Serie A. Napoli pushed Juventus to the limit last season, but lost the Scudetto at the very end.

Jorginho has so far completed more passes than anyone in the Premier League and he is enjoying life in London.

“My transfer to Chelsea was the choice made by both sides,” Jorginho said in a press conference with the national team.

“We agreed for my good and that of the two clubs. Sarri was important to me, he has his habits and is working to change things, but he’s doing well and the results speak for that.

“The differences between the Premier League and Serie A? You have to experience it to understand, there’s a training centre with 38 football pitches and I think even that tells you a lot.

“Serie A is still a beautiful and exciting league though, one that is followed all over the world. Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival has been even more beneficial, and I hope I can go back one day.
